While Wondla Season One had a good mix of family-friendly television and adult-themed stakes, Season Two leans a little too heavily on the family-friendly early on. The first season established its commitment to darker themes presented to kids in an intelligent and thought-provoking way, and while this season provides some authentic scares and thrills as the mystery unravels, especially in later episodes, early conflicts are much more easily resolved. But stick through those early growing pains, because even though it takes some time to quell Q’s previous Paw Patrol comments, by the end, Wondla proves that its commitment is steady.
