After over a decade without a proper film headlining the character and a complete misfire in attempting to launch a cinematic universe, DC Studios, under the new stewardship of James Gunn, is bringing us back to earth with Superman.

The first film of the new DCU after the universe launched with Creature Commandos in late 2024. Gunn kicks off with the newest version of the Man of Steel with a stellar cast featuring David Corenswet, Rachel Brosnahan, Nicholas Hoult, Edi Gathegi, and Skyler Gisondo.

The Bigger Bite Crew is joined by Blerds N The Hood host Winston A. Marshall and frequent collaborator Shak Lambert to discuss whether or not they think it’s a worthwhile start for DC Studios' cinematic era of Gods & Monsters.
