AMARÚ

Before the end of last season, I was content to have one stint with the charming cast of The Four Seasons. Then came the last episode, and I worried that continuing the group’s story was a reach. Well, I was wrong. Marriage is a forever evolving journey, and revisiting the three “couples’” lives over another year is all too real and all too hilarious. The stars are great, the chemistry is wonderful, the conflict is authentic, and the short episodes keep the fast-paced humor and realistic issues balanced. Let’s meet up again this time next year.

NICK

Without the source material to go off of, and the absence of Steve Carell’s Nick, I wasn’t sure how another edition of The Four Seasons would work. In saying that, I forgot to factor one major thing: the tremendous chemistry of its lead cast. In its second season, the series still manages to find heart, laughs, and obstacles for its characters, while they each experience their own levels of growth. Their actions aren’t always likeable, but they are inherently human and relatable, which is what makes The Four Seasons stand out amongst its contemporaries. I will gladly take another vacation with this crew.
