After two seasons, it’s clear that Michael Che is trying to create the next Chappelle’s Show with That Damn Michael Che, and while it’s never quite as smart or incisive as the Sketch Show GOAT, that doesn’t mean it’s lacking in laughs. Che’s standup bits are the most consistently funny, but some sketches had me in stitches. One such sketch is called “Arthur’s Abortion Dojo,” and to be frank, if that title alone turns you off, then this show probably isn’t for you. However, if it fills you with intrigue, there are more than enough sketches to make this a worthwhile watch.
