Running Point was a nice surprise last year, and the Netflix series picks up where it left off in Season Two. Without the surprise aspect, however, it's missing a little of its shine. The main issue with this season is the new storylines feel like they're picked up and dropped on a whim with little lasting consequence. Even though lots of things happen, it almost feels like nothing does. That said, Kate Hudson continues to be great in the lead role, and it’s nice seeing a female sports executive spotlighted. I’ll watch Season Three, but it needs to be a little more concise.
