While WandaVision and The Falcon and the Winter Soldier were more concerned with developing sidekick characters for future movies, Loki uses a fully established A-lister to push the MCU and Phase 4 forward by leaps and bounds. Tom Hiddleston is obviously great in the role, even as we spend time rehashing some of the character development we've already seen. Personally, I think it's the best MCU show yet, but that will ultimately come down to whether you prefer character or story more. Notably, the fifth episode is peak nerd, as the episode is literally littered with awesome Easter Eggs throughout.
