Even though it boasts several things that are right up my alley, including an exaggerated Indiana Jones meets National Treasure storyline and Andy Samberg reviving his “In the Cage with Nic Cage” impression, Digman! is a complete misfire. As the exclamation point in the title would suggest, the series operates on the wavelength of “louder is funnier,” which is almost never the case. The animation is eye-catching enough and there are some notable guest stars, but in terms of laughs, Digman! can’t even hold a candle to the mediocrity that is modern-day Family Guy despite the mile-a-minute jokes. Maybe it’s good if you’re on edibles?
