ADRIANO
The Napa Boys, in all honesty, feels like a feature-length inside joke pretending to be a legacy sequel to a fake beloved franchise. I understand why some wouldn't find that sense of humour very funny, but when the movie casually throws out that the boys have to “find Stiffler's brother” without any prior context, that's when I knew this American Reunion meets Lord of the Rings parody film was gonna land for me. It's very aimless at times, but I laughed more often than I didn't.

BODE
Look, comedy is subjective. What one person finds funny, the other may not. That becomes even more obvious when you enter the realm of alternative comedy, which The Napa Boys falls very much into. Co-writers and co-stars Nick Corirossi (who also directed) and Armen Weitzman essentially create a feature-length shitpost akin to Wet Hot American Summer, satirizing our IP-obsessed culture with tons of inside jokes and gross-out gags. If that doesn’t sound like your thing, this could very well test your patience. But if you’re like me, you’ll be laughing throughout. To the grape!
